Shopping
EJR Beads run online-only. I am often in my studio making beads and unable to take phone calls. So all purchases and payments must be made using the online ordering system.
New customers must first create an account, which stores delivery details for future visits. Shipping addresses will be printed exactly as you enter them. So please take care and format post codes correctly.
Completed orders cannot be added to, so please make sure you have finished shopping before hitting the "confirm order" button and checking out.
Placing items in your cart will not reserve them. You must complete checkout in full to secure any items in your cart.
Minimum Order
Due to ever increasing costs, the minimum order amount is set at £5.00 GBP excluding P&P. Lower value orders are welcome but will be subject to an additional low order fee, currently set at £1.00.
Out of Stock Items
The online store should prevent you ordering out of stock items. However should any item be unavailable, I will email you to discuss. Out of stock items cannot be back-ordered, so please re-order at a later date.
Shipping / Postage & Packing
Shipping charges are based on order weight and destination. Prices start from just £1.65 for UK orders and £2.00 for overseas. The “Estimate Shipping” Button on the "Shopping Cart" page will show you the exact shipping costs for any items in your cart.
Most UK orders are despatched by first class post, arriving in 2-5 working days. Heavier orders may be sent by courier. Overseas orders are sent by airmail and take around 5 -14 days. Orders placed before 11 am GMT are despatched the same day (in-stock items only, subject to receipt of cleared payment)
The vast majority of orders arrive very quickly, however delivery times cannot be guaranteed without upgrading to a Next-Day service. (See Below)
Your order may require a signature upon delivery. Additional postage costs will be charged for redelivery on orders returned to EJR Beads as un-signed for / undeliverable.
We will not be responsible for lost / stolen orders if you request the package to be left on doorstep / at neighbours / in shed etc. Such delivery requests will be made at your own risk.
At times, the postal service may encouter delays quite out of our hands. We are unable to send out replacement orders due to such unforseen delays.
UK postage rates apply to UK mainland customers only. Orders to Islands & Highlands may be subject to additional costs. Customers will be emailed prior to despatch if so. All prices and services are subject to revision and to Royal Mail’s own terms and conditions. As such, orders cannot be classed as lost until 15 working days have passed from due delivery date. No refunds or replacements will be issued until this time has elapsed. So if your order is time-critical - please consider upgrading to Next Day delivery!
UK customers can upgrade most orders to be shipped by Special Delivery, guarenteeing a next working-day delivery. Please visit the “ Next Day / Tracking for Orders” category prior to checkout and add the relevant option to your cart.
Shipping upgrade prices are in addition to normal postage & packing costs which are added on at checkout.
This service is based on package weights of 2000 grams (2 kg) or less. For heavier orders or those containing multiple magazines, this option may not be available. Next working-day delivery is only available to UK mainland customers for in-stock items ordered before 11 am.
Payment
UK customers: I accept most credit / debit cards through Paypal. You do not need a Paypal account to pay by credit card. Just select Paypal as your payment method through checkout and follow the link for non-account holders when you reach Paypal's secure payment page.
UK customers may also pay by cheque or postal order. If no payment is received after 5 days, orders will be cancelled and items returned to stock. Details of where to send your payment will be given after completing Checkout. Please be sure to hit the "confirm" button when placing
Outside-UK customers: Overseas orders must be paid via Paypal. All prices shown are in GBP (Great British Pounds). Paypal will automatically convert from your home currency. Please check Paypal’s website for their current exchange rates.
Overseas customers are responsible for all shipping, import duties / taxes. We will not falsify customs declarations.
All Paypal users please note: Delivery address must match the paypal address. I reserve the right to refuse delivery to certain unconfirmed / unverified addresses.
Returns
You may return any item (excluding books, magazines, earrings or earring findings) within 14 days for a refund. I am unable to refund any shipping costs except in the case of incorrectly picked orders. Please email first for a Return Code. Returned items must be received in a saleable condition to qualify for refund.
Newsletter
When setting up your EJR Beads account, you will be asked if you wish to subscribe to my Newsletter. These emails keep you informed on upcoming Art beads, auctions and other new products. I will not share your details with anyone.
